Welcome to the Jobloggr blog

Why this blog exists

Job searching is one of the most stressful experiences a person can go through — especially when unemployment is already on the table. The last thing you need is a tool that makes the process more complicated, or a blog that talks down to you.

This blog exists to give practical, honest advice about managing a job search. No fluff. No "network your way to success" platitudes. Just the stuff that actually helps you stay organized, follow up on time, and keep your sanity.

Who Jobloggr is for

Jobloggr is for people actively searching for work. Not in a passive, "I'll apply when something great comes along" way — in the "I'm sending applications every week and I need to keep track of where things stand" way.

If you've ever lost track of which version of your resume you sent somewhere, forgotten to follow up after an interview, or spent ten minutes in a spreadsheet trying to remember whether a company got back to you — this is for you.

What to expect here

Posts will cover:

  • Practical tracking habits — what to log, when, and why it matters
  • Interview prep that doesn't feel like a chore — how staying organized before the interview makes you more confident during it
  • Job-search psychology — the mental side of a long search, without toxic positivity
  • Product updates — when something new ships in Jobloggr that changes how you work

A note on money: Jobloggr is free to use for your entire job search. If you land a job and want to support the project, there's a paid option. But there is no weekly billing, no paywalled core features, and no dark patterns. The free tier is genuinely useful — not a demo.

Welcome. Let's get you organized.
