Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Jobloggr (“Jobloggr,” “we,” “us”), including the website at jobloggr.com, the authenticated web application, and the Jobloggr Chrome extension (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

Jobloggr is a job tracking tool. You can record job listings, contacts, and notes, move jobs through a pipeline (backlog, applied, interviewing, offer, accepted, rejected), capture jobs from supported job boards with the extension, and export your data as CSV. We do not apply to jobs on your behalf and we do not guarantee any outcome from your job search.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may only use the Service with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian. The Service is intended for personal use by individual job seekers.

3. Your account

You authenticate with Google or LinkedIn. You are responsible for keeping the email account used to sign in secure, and for any activity that occurs under your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us at support@jobloggr.com.

4. Your content

You retain all ownership of the data you enter into Jobloggr — job listings, companies, contacts, notes, dates, everything. We store and display it back to you. We do not claim any license to use your data beyond what is required to operate the Service. You can export it as CSV at any time, and you can delete any record or your entire account on demand.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to harass, defame, or harm any person or company.
  • Attempt to bypass account limits, access other users’ data, or interfere with the Service’s infrastructure.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service, except to the extent expressly permitted by applicable law.
  • Scrape, resell, or redistribute Jobloggr-hosted data or the Service itself without our written permission.
  • Use the extension to capture content from sites in a way that violates those sites’ terms of service or applicable law.

6. Free tier and paid plans

The free tier of Jobloggr is intended to be genuinely useful on its own. It enforces a cap on the number of active jobs (jobs in applied, interviewing, or offer stages) but does not cap jobs in your backlog or archived jobs. Paid plans (Pro and Lifetime Pass) unlock additional capabilities described on the pricing page. Pricing, features, and plan availability may change; we will not change pricing for plans you have already paid for without notice.

Paid plans are billed through our payment processor. You can cancel a recurring plan at any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not charge weekly billing cycles.

7. Refunds

If you are not satisfied with a paid plan, contact us within 14 days of purchase and we will issue a full refund. After 14 days, refunds are at our discretion.

8. Service availability

We work hard to keep Jobloggr fast and available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, change features, or retire functionality over time. For material changes that affect how you use the Service, we will try to give you reasonable notice.

9. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from the settings page. We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to other users, the Service, or us. On termination we will delete your account data as described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Jobloggr is a tracking tool — it does not guarantee job search outcomes, interview invitations, offers, or employment.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jobloggr will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose or (b) fifty US dollars.

12. Changes to these terms

If we make material changes to these Terms we will update the “Last updated” date above and, if the change is significant, notify you by email or an in-app banner before it takes effect. Continued use of the Service after the changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Denver County, Colorado, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
